QUZHOU SPORTS PARK PLANNING AND DESIGN, QUZHOU PRC

This massive sustainable sport PARK is comprised of a 30,000-seating capacity stadium, 3,000 seating capacity natatorium,10,000 seating capacity gymnasium, complete with training centre and others leisure facilities. The most prominent facility of the sports centre is a 30,000m2 geothermal lake in the middle of the development which serves as a heat sink and a sustainable heat source for the HVAC systems as well as an aesthetic feature. CFD analysis were conducted to access the effectiveness of natural ventilation at the development.
